Hello friends, welcome! Thank you so much for coming to the passion connected podcast and for letting me be a little part of your day. I am so, so excited. So this is going to be a quick little trailer episode just to give you a taste of who I am and who this is for; who I'm here to serve. We're going to be diving into some deep topics here on the passion connected so I want you to feel like this is your space. I want you to come away from this trailer feeling like “yes she's my person” and “this is where I'm meant to be, this is a community that I'd like to jump into”. So here we go. My name is Amanda Ammons. I'm a believer, wife to my husband Kileab, and mom to my two beautiful daughters. I'm a professional counselor to be. I'm so close to getting my license it has felt like a long time coming so we are getting there and I cannot wait for that day. I also have my undergraduate in counseling and I plan to change the world with it. I'm really passionate about sex specifically for women I believe that it is not a topic that's talked about enough and I really want to create a community where women feel like they can talk about their excitement, they can talk about their struggles, all the things. Where they can ask all the questions. That's really fun to me, it's something I talk about in my everyday life with my friends with my family and so I want to do it here. I want to bring it to the rest of the world. I want them to find this as a comfortable peaceful space to do that.

Some side notes about me just so you can get a taste of who I am. I love singing, that's a just small thing about me. I had a really hard time starting this trailer episode and not like singing out hello, like I was so excited. So especially if I'm excited, singing comes out. Dancing also comes out, which dancing is a mandatory part of my work day. Pumping the jams and dancing around my room like an idiot. That is definitely me. I don't know how to dance but you better bet that's what I do. I also always thought that I would be a really good audiobook narrator so I guess I get to do a little bit of that kind of thing here. It's my own words but you know I get to have fun with it.

I'm super excited about this passion connected podcast. It is just is going to be a place that I'm going to pour into and it is a community that I want to build. I am here to change the world and it starts with you as my team. This is a place where we can let light shine on a topic that needs to become a common conversation that's truly what I believe. It's going to be the sex ed class you didn't get I'm going to be the one who cares about you, really cares that you feel prepared, cares that you get to live your best life by being intentional with what you learn. Be intentional with your created nature as a beautiful sexual being. I care about you all so much. After so many conversations with women on the topic of sex and what they desire out of their sex life one thing has become really clear to me. Most people don't even know what they want. They don't know that they should even think about they don't know how to articulate what they want. I want this podcast to be a place where your topics are covered that you didn't even know you needed. If your gut and your heart and your head, wherever you fall in the decision making process, knows you need to learn about something but you don't know what it is: start here. Maybe you have a few questions or maybe you're sitting there just wondering what you should ask. Ask me. Let's dive in together. I am ready for you. I am ready for this. So this podcast is for those who want a safe place to learn and ask questions. For those who want help with problems and for those who want freedom or to overcome shame or overcome misconceptions that they have. For those who want a refreshing spark to their sex life.
